Finance Council

The primary purpose of the Finance Council is consultative and it is responsible for assisting the Pastor with the Parish financial administration, with the specific mandate to assist the Pastor in the administration of Parish goods.  

The Council assists the Pastor in the preparation of a yearly budget of Parish income and expenditures and in the preparation of the required annual financial report of actual income and expenditures versus the budget for dissemination to the Parishioners. It reviews the Parish financial statements on a monthly basis to ensure that the Parish is operating within the confines of the budget. The Council also reviews the Parish’s revenues and makes recommendations for increasing revenue to meet Parish goals and priorities. It encourages support of Parish and Archdiocesan stewardship programs.
