We are very happy and blessed to have Fr. Khoi Le begin his ministry at Most Holy Trinity on July 1 and look forward to him sharing his gifts with us for many years to come.
Please join us at Mass this weekend to welcome Fr. Khoi to MHT and to Angleton. Prayers for you always Fr. Khoi!
Fr. Khoi Le was born on March 30, 1985 to Khoa & Kim Le in Houston, Texas. He is the third son of five boys. He was baptized on July 21, 1985 by Fr. Joseph Bang Doan at Holy Rosary Church. He received his First Communion on June 6, 1993 at the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in the old church building. On April 18, 2002, he was confirmed by Bishop Vincent M. Rizzotto at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church. After making serveral visits to the Benedictine Monastery of Christ in the Desert, Fr. Khoi became an Oblate of St. Benedict on March 13, 2012. He was ordained a deacon by Bishop George Sheltz on May 16, 2015 and with great joy, Fr. Khoi was ordained by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo on June 4, 2016 at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. He was assigned as parochial vicar at St. Ignatius from 2016-2019. On July 1st, 2019 he was appointed by Cardinal DiNardo as parish administrator of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
“When God called me to consider the priesthood, I was blessed to be working in advertising doing graphic and web design while volunteering as a catechist on the weekends at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. For me it was a ‘still small voice’ that I slowly became more and more aware of as I spent time in silent prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament and attending daily Mass. Since answering the call, God has been stretching my heart to learn to receive his love more and teaching me how to share that love to others as His priest.”
