Greetings brothers and sisters,
What a wonderful Bazaar we had two weekends ago! Thank you to the Bazaar Committee, The Knights of Columbus for the Hall, and all of the ministries and volunteers who helped to put on the various activities. None of it could be possible without everyone lending a hand before, during and after. Thank you!
With the Bazaar under our belts and CCE/Youth Group is in full swing, my attention moves to all the ministries that are within the parish. As we move forward in the following weeks, I’ll be looking at all the various ministries we have at the parish and calling on all the ministry leaders of each ministry.
Next weekend, October 26th and 27th after each of the Masses, we will have a Ministry Fair in St. Basil Hall, where all the ministries of the parish will be present. I hope you take a few minutes of your time to go over and look at the various opportunities available to you here at Most Holy Trinity, and more importantly to thank each of the leaders who help lead and support all the good works that are done here.
Sometimes, ministry in the church can be a thankless work, and if you work for the church, often it is not for the wonderful pay you get. We do it all for the Lord, to lead others into a relationship of discipleship with Jesus and to minister to those in need of His grace. What an honor that God chooses us to be his instruments and is willing to work with such dull instruments as me! On it’s own, a pencil cannot do anything, but in the hands of God, what beauty and poetry can be created!
May we be open to let God use us as his instrument in His saving work!
You are in my prayers as always,
Fr. Khoi
